
Keith Capdepon, Jr., earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University in 1980. He has been licensed as a Professional Engineer since 1985. He owns a construction company that has performed highway, street and bridge, municipal and public works, and heavy construction projects; Keith began working at BH&A in January 1998. Keith has been involved in the Louisiana DOTD Off-System Bridge Rehabilitation and Replacement program in 13 parishes, and has permitted and been involved in various modifications and updates to Municipal Solid Waste Landfills, Types I and II, and Construction and Demolition Type III Landfills in the state of Louisiana. He has designed and inspected the construction of clay and synthetic liners for the previously mentioned types of disposal facilities, as well as written NPDES permit applications for sanitary and storm water discharges. He has also designed various engineering projects including: new road construction, road re-construction and highway reconstruction for the LADOTD and local governing bodies; subsurface drainage and flood control projects; municipal water distribution including ground storage tanks and elevated storage tanks; potable water treatment for ground water and surface water; and wastewater collection and treatment. Keith has also handled numerous utility relocation projects for the LADOTD, Time Managers, and the Corps of Engineers, including water, gas, gravity sewer, and electric lines. He has designed subdivision developments including streets, utilities (gas, water, and sewerage), and subsurface drainage. He has also completed numerous seminars for compliance with biennial continuing professional development requirements including Life Safety Code compliance. Keith is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Louisiana Engineering Society and the National Society of Professional Engineers. He also serves as the qualifying party for BH&A's contractor's license for highway, street and bridge construction; heavy construction; and municipal and public works construction.
